Deaconess Kim Woods

Deaconess Kim Woods was born in Philadelphia to Deacon Harvey and Delores Withers.

Deaconess Woods has two brothers, and she is the oldest of three children.

Deaconess Woods was educated in the Philadelphia Public School system and attended LaSalle University.

Deaconess Woods has been employed by LaSalle University for 24 years and is an Accounts Payable Specialist.

Deaconess Woods joined the Berean Baptist Church in 2011. She has been the Co-Leader and Facilitator for the Member Reception Ministry, member of the Scholarship Ministry, Women’s Ministry and Vacation Bible School teacher.

She was installed as Church Clerk in 2021 upon the return to church after the Pandemic. She was ordained into the Diaconate Ministry on November 5, 2023.

Deaconess Woods is married to Deacon Eugene Woods and they have three children, Fayana, (Charles, Son-In-Love), Brandon and Kayleah. They are the proud grandparents of three boys, Jah’ier, Jayce and JaKai and bonus grandparents to Nasir and Nijayah and great-granddaughter, Layla.

Her favorite scripture is Psalm 91. Deaconess Woods believes that prayer changes things and the Blood of Jesus still works.
